Definitely Not A Platformer

Definitely Not a Platformer is a puzzle platforming game where nothing looks the way it seems. You will move through 20 handcrafted stages, each one built to trick your eyes and test your patience. Some paths are invisible until you step on them. Some platforms are fake and will drop you the moment you trust them. Floors collapse under your feet, colors shift without warning, and hazards appear from nowhere just when you think you are safe. Signs along the way may point you in the wrong direction on purpose. Even the narrator, who talks to you as you play, might be lying or might be the only one telling the truth. You have to figure out the rules of every level on your own, watch for small clues hidden in the design, and find the exit before your mistakes pile up. NAJOX brings you this experience where every death teaches you something and every stage rewards careful thinking over fast reflexes. As you get better, you can chase faster completion times and try to lower your death count, turning each run into a test of memory, observation, and nerve. The game never tells you everything up front. It expects you to learn by doing, fail by trusting the wrong thing, and succeed by paying attention to what the level is really showing you.

Move with the Left and Right Arrow keys or A/D. Q/D is also supported for AZERTY keyboards. Jump with Up Arrow, W, Z, Space, or a mouse click. On mobile, use the on-screen Left, Right, and Jump buttons; you can also tap the game area to jump. Press R to restart, M to mute, and Escape or P to return to the menu. Reach the portal at the end of each stage, but do not trust every platform or sign.
